Harry Potter TAG

When I was a kid, Harry Potter was possibly one of the only things I really read. Well, Michael Morpurgo books and The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe were certainly favourites, so my reading habits became a routine: Read HP series, couple of Michael Morpurgos, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to lift me out of the sadness that the Michael Morpurgo books produced, and then the cycle would start all over again.

Let's just say I was waiting for my Hogwarts letter long after I turned eleven.

Here's my Harry Potter collection.

1) Favourite Book?

It's either the fourth or the sixth. Fourth because I just adore the Triwizard Tournament. I love the sixth because the series really does seem a lot darker and older by this point. I love Voldemort's history. And Malfoy. Malfoy.

2) Favourite Movie?

Certainly not the bane that is the fifth or the sixth. I'd either go with the seventh & eighth (come on they're really just 1 film) or the third.

3)  Least Favourite book?

Snake. Snake. Snake. (Basilisk).

4) Parts of books/movies that make you cry/ weep like a baby?

Tonks and Lupin dying. And the fact that they leave Teddy behind. Always gets me that bit. And Malfoy. Snape, always.

5) If you could hook up with any HP character who would it be?

Malfoy. Ok. Ok. I love Malfoy's character, even if for the first few books he's drawn to be a major antagonist. He's Harry's character in essence, but he's been forced into things and has no choice about his behaviour. Him or Forge. Fred and George.

6) Favourite Character?

What I said for the last one. This is going to get repetitive...  but I also love Helena Ravenclaw (or the Grey Lady)'s backstory.

7) What would your patronus be?

A cat. Definitely.

8) If you could have the resurrection stone, invisibility cloak or elder wand, which one would you really choose?

Invisibility cloak.

9) What house would you be in? 

I'm so very unsure. It's a mismatch between all four, but I'd say some kind of Hufflepuff - Ravenclaw hybrid.

10) If you could meet any member of the cast who would it be?

Emma Thompson.

11) Have you ever played the video games?

Yes. I was six years old, and it was a computer game. I got really irritated I couldn't get past a certain level, so queue many, many arguments/fights with my twin sister. My mother secretly took it to the charity shop.

12) If you were on the Quiddich team which position would you play?

Spectator.

13) Were you happy with the ending?

Yes, and I'm very pleased that it has ended, because it reached a place where it had to end.

14) How much does Harry Potter mean to you?

A lot.
